No, unfortunately the Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System for DJI RS 2 (V-Mount)
(BH# TIGSST01V) is designed to be used with the DJI RS 2 only and there is no adapter available for it.

The load capacity is 22lbs, but the weight appears to be incorrect. It should be the weight of the arm. Could you please check?
According to Tilta, the weight of the Tilta Float arm, from the Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System for DJI RS 2 (V-Mount), is as follows: "Tilta Float System Arm Weight: 2.27kg", which would be about 5 lbs.

Does it adjust the balance if using a zoom lens, like a gimbal does?
Yes it does. Photography lenses that physically get longer/shorter as you zoom in and out will shift the weight balance. Internally zooming lenses affect the balance to a much smaller degree.
In general if you balanced the camera rig properly zooming in/out should not affect the gimbal enough to require rebalancing. The gimbals have some ability to compensate for being slightly out of balance thus zooming in/out should not present a problem (again if balanced properly).

What type of stand can be used to balance this ...
What type of stand can be used to balance this other than a C-stand? And the float comes with an adapter to sit on top?
The Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System for DJI RS 2 (V-Mount), features a 5/8" (babypin) mount, which will fit on a C-stand or most standard lighting stands. However, we would recommend a C-stand to hold the weight properly or another type of heavy duty light stand, such as a Matthews Light/Heavy Triple Riser Kit Stand (12.4'). https://bhpho.to/3gpFruD

An iPad is not recommended for use with the Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System for DJI RS 2 (V-Mount) as it most likely will not balance properly.
