DVDO designed the USB 3.1 Active Repeater Cable for their DVDO-C2-1 PTZ camera to allow for a safe connection from up to 49' away. The cable can also be used to carry most other USB Type-A signals the extended distance. (Some PTZ cameras may require the powered PSU version of this cable.)
Made of two cables connected together, this repeater cable features a USB Type-A male connector on one end and a Type-A female on the other. It supports data transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s and works plug-and-play, with no additional configuration required.
