Optical Performance
  • Powerful 20-60x zoom eyepiece allows you to make detailed observations and identifications at extreme long range
  • Oversized 80mm objective lens helps to ensure views remain bright and clear, even when viewing subjects at long range on maximum magnification and in challenging light conditions; also makes the spotting scope ideal as a starter telescope for lunar and planetary viewing and surveying constellations
  • BAK4 Porro prism glass delivers a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Anti-reflection fully multicoated optics maximize light transmission while improving color rendition, contrast, and clarity
  • Proprietary EXO exterior lens coatings resist external fogging, scratches, and abrasions while allowing oil, dirt, and sap to be cleaned off without leaving smudges or residue
  • 98-foot field of view at 1000 yards at 20x power, 50-foot at 60x
Use and Handling
  • The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the optical tube, placing the user's head in a comfortable viewing position whether standing, sitting, or lying prone
  • Large textured single-speed focusing knob ensures tack-sharp viewss
  • Twist-up rubber eyecup for comfortable use with or without eyewear
  • Rotating tripod collar allows the user to adjust the orientation of the eyepiece relative to the tripod for optimum viewing comfort
  • Standard 1/4"-20 mount is compatible with most quick release plates, heads, and photo/video/field tripods and other support systems
  • Long eye relief at all powers allows the user to back off the eyepiece to reduce eye fatigue and increase viewing comfort during long glassing sessions—even on high magnification
  • 3.6mm exit pupil at 20x magnification will cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low light
Construction Details
  • Small Picatinny/Weaver rail on the side of the housing enables you to mount accessories, like a dot sight or laser, to enhance the usability
  • Lightweight and durable aluminum alloy chassis
  • Rubber armor protects the optical tube from impacts and bumps while providing a sure grip during setup and breakdown—even in cold and wet conditions
  • Optical tube is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to an IP67 rating, making it water, dust, and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions
  • Extendable sunshade prevents flare when looking in the direction of the sun—improving contrast and clarity, especially when the sun is low on the horizon at dawn and dusk

Big Upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Should have bought it sooner. Been looking to upgrade my older budget scope for both nature/bird watching and target spotting. I paired it with their tripod, and both fill solid and built like a tank. Highly recommend.

I bought this for shooting at 800yrds and 1000yrds. Has good glass for those distances. Like being able to rotate body so can change eye piece position for shooting prone. Like side picatinny rail’s, for mounting red dot and angle indicator. Also a huge plus is comes in a durable hard shell plastic case!
