It works! But I bought it for a completely different purpose

I bought this tracker because you can use different mounts on it. I put a small spotlight on it and used it to shine a spotlight on trick or treaters as they walked up our walkway to the door.. The range is not great for this, but it worked pretty well. On a table with phone at 3-5' it works very well. Probably always better inside than out. Cute little device. I will find all sorts of uses.

Great tool for solo filming

Device works well for solo filming. The only minor drawback is the motor isn't completely silent so you can hear it in the video if it's quiet during movement. Not a big deal but worth noting. I personally use a wireless mic so it's not an issue for me. One other thing worth mentioning is if multiple people are in frame it gets confused on who to track and will track who ever is closest to it. Overall I think it works well for the money and has been useful for videos in the garage and for use while camping solo.
