Best bag to hold your gear

This is the second time I've bought this bag. When I put my flattener, spacers, EAF, Filter Drawer, and camera on my refractor telescope I need a nice long bag to get the job done. THis bag has nice zippers and many adjustable compartments.

Solid bag with slight design flaw

This is a solid bag made from sturdy materials. However, there is one design flaw that would make this an outstanding bag if addressed: the main zipper only runs down the middle of the bag preventing it from being opened widely and able to stay open while adding the various items to the bag. A zipper that opened on 3 sides of the top would be much more practical, allowing it to be opened as a flap on the top, allowing it to be flipped back for easy addition of the tube, tripod, etc. I also would be happy to see an additional strap on the tube side to help secure it in place - my tube is not particularly long, so the current strap placement is a bit precarious - it works, though, so not a big deal. One last amazing thing would be to make some of the outside loops elastic to allow one to slide in items like a red light flashlight. At the moment, they are only good for carabiners - also fine, but just a thought. B&H was fantastic with their shipping and keeping me informed of the progress along the way.

Yes, the Omni 150 XLT EQ telescope will fit, but it will be tight. We recommend to carry the counterweight separately.

No, I am sorry the Celestron Soft Telescope Bag (40") will not accommodate a Celestron Nexstar 4SE telescope. A better choice would be the Celestron Carrying Case for 4/5/6" NexStar Telescope B&H # CECNS4580TAS MFR # 94003.
