question
will this work for a canon 7d?
I would think so. I currently use it with 5d mkIII and Canon 28 - 300 zoom lens attached. Excellent piece of kit.

Going with the 19 x 19 model would be fine for your application.

Has anyone tried using one of these on the mavic pro drone? I'd like to wrap my drone (with propellers), and I'm curious what size would be best.
Yes, some people have successfully wrapped a drone in the Domke Color Coded Protective Wrap to protect it when putting into a pack.Taking into account the size of the Mavic Pro the 19 x 19 is a good size protecting wrap.

Is this big enough to wrap and toyo 45a in?
Is this big enough to wrap and toyo 45a in?
No. It is 19" square, and the Toyo must be at least 30" or more in "circumference." Because these cloths have velcro tabs that attach to every part of the outer surface, it would be possible to use several together, but that is far from the most elegant solution.

Can they be washed?
Can they be washed?
They were very helpful on some very bumpy road trips in Africa where I was hand holding underway rather then let the cameras bounce around - lots of dust combined with a drop or two of drinking of water and they look a little grubby. They did their job though

question
I have a Nikon DSLR D3100 with a silicone protective cover. Will this wrap fit with an attached 18-300 lens? or should I wrap the items separately?
No. You need to wrap it separately

question
How thick is it? Does it provide more protection than say a large hand towel from the kitchen drawer?
I think it does provide more protection, plus you don't have the problem of fibres coming off a towelling wrap.
