Featuring a 7200-dpi optical sensor and 1000 Hz polling rate, the wired CadMouse Compact features a total of seven buttons, including five customizable ones. Low-friction and wear-resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) feet provide smooth, durable action, while a lifespan of 50 million clicks ensures reliability. The 3Dconnexion CadMouse Compact Wired Mouse is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.

I have average size hands. I find this mouse to be not comfortable for use for long periods of time as it is too small. The CADMouse Pro is a enough larger that is is significantly easier on the hand, wrist, and forearm. Otherwise this is above average quality but not great. Years ago when Logitech owned 3Dconnexion I wrote to them offering to pay $500 for a truly durable mouse. Am I the only user that is intensely annoyed at having to replace peripherals all too often. I type this on an IBM model M keyboard that's over 37 years old. 3 Stars, not 5 because I've had to replace 3Dconnexion mice about every 3-4 years. This is better than most mice I've used...
