This is a great affordable tool to have in my kit because it's not very big and it's something that can come in handy in a pinch. Even though I only have two items that use micro-hdmi it's small enough to carry when I travel and for older prosumer cameras so given the cost i see it as a must have. This piece has not fallen apart on me and it feels like it'll last for years to come. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

The mini hdmi part was plugged into a mini monitor. It worked fine when I tested and then left it be until yesterday. I just yesterday finished the tray for holding a VXR and the mini monitor. To install the monitor onto the tray I needed to temporarily disconnect it. In doing so the casing surrounding the internal wiring stayed in side my monitor port. It was easy enough to pull the casing from the monitor with tweezers so no harm there. This kind of adapter really my only option so will try again.
