I'm really glad that that this is on the market and available! I'm not particularly thrilled about the rubber grip aspect, however; they flake off which winds up in the environment. (Such is life.)
My Domke J2 bag is still in great shape after 10 years, but the strap was showing it's age. It had faded from black to gray and was badly fraying from wearing against my shoulder every day. I was searching for a new J2 bag to replace it, but they are hard to find. Then I found this strap--which was really the only part of the bag needing replacement. Saved me over $200 by only replacing the strap instead of the whole bag.
