I use this lens for photography. The images are sometimes to soft but they look amazing. Its a heavy lens so it was hard to use it for street photography. Its as big as a zoom lens too so people notice you more. I do like what it gives me.

Sharp and fun to use

I have been pleasantly surprised to get a lens at this price point that is sharp, easy to work with, and has brought a whole new look to my work for certain projects. Solidly built and easy to focus. I liked this lens so much that I bought two other Sirui anamorphic lenses.

No, the Sirui Mount Adapter for Sirui 35mm f/1.8 Anamorphic Lens (Sony E) is only for the 35mm lens. This adapter will not work on the Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (MFT Mount).

What is the image circle?

What is the image circle?
Asked by: Zak
The image circle of the Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (MFT Mount) (B&H# SI24AM43ML) is sufficient to cover a micro four thirds sensor. It should not be used with other sensors and it will not attach to other mounts. Moreover, changing the flange distance could result in the loss of infinity focus.

Is this only for the crop Z50? What about Z6/Z7?
Asked by: Chris
It can be used on the Z6/Z7 however only in DX mode. If you shoot in FX mode, you'll see the lens barrel and need to spend time cropping it in post, killing your resolution. You'd be better fit shooting in DX mode and the sensor crop is done for you in-camera, maintaining the 4K UHD resolution. The camera's image can be de-squeezed for you in real time using a Ninja V or BMD Video Assist via the HDMI out.
