It looks like the base of the grip could be attached to a monopod.
Can you confirm this?
The Kirk SG-QRV2 Support Grip with Quick Release Clamp has a 1/4 female thread on the bottom. It will work with many monopods and tripods. Note, a 1/4 inch thread is not a lot. Best if used that way not to use a heavy camera with a heavy lens.
