Using TT's website, you can find cables and other products that are compatible with your camera. I was looking for a tether between my Sony A7R V and my computer. TT recommended this in addition to the TetherPro USB Type-C Male to Male 15' Cable on their own website. The normal USB-C Male cable works, but this TetherBoost extension does not maintain signal. It acts like it's going to work, but when you take a shot it fails and files won't transfer.

Not as good as Regular Cable or Type-A version

Material is thinner and cheaper and now has become so unreliable I can no longer use it while the Type A cable I have had for twice as long is still going strong.

Does the booster need to be on the end nearest the computer, or the end nearest the camera?

The Tether Tools TetherBoost Pro USB Type-C Core Controller Extension Cable is meant to be used with the booster part closer to the camera.
