I used this connector to make a low-profile power plug for my new Canon C400. Ability to rotate the input of the cable into the plug 360º is super useful. It allowed me to shortest cable from the V-mount plate to the XLR power input on the camera (see picture).

4 pin XLRs are not so common (compared to 3pin) so it's nice that someone is making a low profile one. Item is solidly built and works well.
