Can I use this mic with my computer? I have an iMac and want to use it with my screen recording software to create tutorials. I purchased the audio jack to USBC cable to connect to my computer, but the computer isn't recognizing it.
Yes, the SMX-30V can be used with a computer provided you have the appropriate adapter or USB audio interface. Most USB-C audio adapter cables are meant for use with smartphones, and may not work with the computers in the same way. There are many 3rd party solutions available on the B&H website, I am sure a sales person can direct you towards a USB audio adapter that is suited for your needs.

Why is the bass response of this mic so poor? ...
Why is the bass response of this mic so poor? Spec says it goes down to 40Hz. Also, there's little highs compared to my old mic.
The Azden SMX-30V Stereo/Mono Mixable Video Microphone (BH # AZSMX30V) offers a
frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz which approaches the limits of human hearing at the top end.

I guess this mic can be used on iPhone as well & monitor the sound via a Bluetooth headphone. Correct me if I am wrong?
Not all video and audio recording apps allow for live monitoring. Furthermore, monitoring via Bluetooth may involve some latency. As for the SMX-30V, connecting it to an iPhone will require the Apple lightning to headphone adapter, plus a TRRS adapter cable. However, connecting this way will not allow for stereo recording.

How bad is the self noise level when connected to a Sony a6600 camera? Which microphone has the least self noise; this one or the SMX-30?
The Azden SMX-30V Stereo/Mono Mixable Video Microphone and the Azden SMX-30 Stereo/Mono Switchable Video Microphone have similar specifications in reference to self noise, with an identical signal to noise ratio spec of 82 dB (1kHz). While we have not tested either mic directly with the Sony a6600 Mirrorless Camera, they should both work well, although a bit of self noise is expected in general.
