I absolutely love the images taken with this lens. The sharpness, focus control and optics quality are all phenomenal. Best part is the body is weather resistant enabling shoot in almost all types of climates. Very satisfied.

This lens exceeded my expectations. I'm a Videographer and own all of the 1.8 primes, 70-200 f/2.8, 24-105 f/4 amongst others and shoot on the S1, multiple S5s, and S5iix. I purchased this lens to work with my 70-200 to capture the cross angle of the bride or groom's expressions during the ceremony on a tripod. It is consistent, sharp, easy to grab focus, and is well made. It provides solid, deep colors in bright sunlight (not washed out), handles flares well. At times I use it during the reception on a b-cam to capture speeches. With reception lighting and the higher f-stop I was skeptical, but it does a pretty good job due to Lumix cameras excellent low-light capabilities (for best results, keep it at or below 6400iso). I'd highly recommend this lens to those who would be using it for a similar experience.
