Flawed Design

The frame is too narrow and once you add the dopchoice metal connectors, they block some light from spreading sideways. The beam angle of the Timpani already isn't that wide. The result is that it cannot evenly fill a medium DOPchoice/TRP softbox. The narrowness of the frame makes it difficult to screw on the dopchoice metal connectors, since the light is in the way. The frame should be 2 or 3 inches wider. The frame also lacks a locking mechanism - so don't rotate the light cause your softbox might slide out. To get better performance a stronger diffusion(the current one with a 78 degree spread) would help greatly.
