Saramonic AX1 Overview

Simultaneously record two signals to a camera, DSLR, smartphone, tablet, or laptop with the Saramonic AX1 passive 2-channel audio mixer, an ultracompact and lightweight solution that won't slow you down on run-and-gun shoots, interview recordings, and more. It includes 3.5mm TRS and TRRS output cables to ensure compatible connectivity with cameras, portable recorders, and mobile devices.

Connect powered mics or wireless receivers to the two 3.5mm TRS mono input jacks or plug a stereo mic into the 3.5mm TRS stereo input. Route the 3.5mm output to your recording/shooting device. The output can be set to mono or stereo via a dedicated switch, allowing you to record the two input signals to separate channels or mix them together. It features left and right trim controls, and requires no power source. The integrated 1/4"-20 mount enables simple attachment to an accessory mount or tripod.

2-Channel Mixer
The AX1 combines two input signals to a single output, perfect for recording two powered microphones or wireless receivers to one mono or stereo input. Use it with micro wireless systems such as the Blink 500 and Blink 500 Pro, battery-powered shotgun mics like the CamMic+ and Vmic mkII series, and many other devices.
Passive Design
Since the AX1 utilizes a passive design, it requires no batteries or external power source.
Simple Connectivity
To keep connectivity simple, the AX1 features two 3.5mm TRS mono inputs, one 3.5mm TRS stereo input, and one 3.5mm TRS output. The output can be set to mono or stereo via a dedicated switch.
Independent Level Attenuators
Independent left and right level attenuators are provided, so you can easily achieve the right balance for your recording.
TRS and TRRS Output Cables
3.5mm TRS and TRRS output cables are supplied with the AX1. Use the TRS cable with cameras, DSLRs, and portable recorders, or swap to the TRRS cable when recording to a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Ultracompact and Lightweight
Incredibly compact and lightweight, it easily fits into even the tightest setups and smallest rigs and has a standard 1/4"-20 mount.

Asked by: Manish P.
The Saramonic AX1 Passive 2-Channel Audio Mixer has independent volume controls for the left and right channels that allow you to achieve the proper balance for your recording with either mono or stereo output. The mixer can be used for cameras, smartphones, tablets, computers, or just about any audio application where you need to record the two input signals to one input and either separate the two channels for a stereo signal or mix them together for a dual mono signal.
