HP 455 G8 15.6" Overview

Designed for snappy computing on the go, this laptop features a 2.3 GHz AMD Ryzen 5 5600U Six-Core processor that may be overclocked to 4.2 GHz, plus 16GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM that may be upgraded to 32GB. Store important files on the preinstalled 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD, or attach external drives or other wired accessories via three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which supports device charging and one of which is powered. A USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port is also present, supporting DisplayPort 1.4 connections and power delivery. Can't stand cables? Cut wires with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Featuring a 15.6" 1920 x 1080 IPS UWVA display, the ProBook 455 G8 also uses an anti-glare coating on the screen surface and features 250 cd/m2 of brightness, a 600:1 contrast ratio, a 60 Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC color gamut coverage, and viewing angles of 170°. Content can be mirrored or extended to an additional display, thanks to the HDMI 1.4b port and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. A microSD card reader allows for easy media retrieval using compatible cards. In addition to dual 2W speakers, the ProBook 455 also sports a dual-mic array and 720p HD webcam for video conferencing. A privacy shutter blocks the camera lens when not in use, and other security features include a TPM chip, power-on passwords, and a Kensington Nano Lock slot. Furthermore, this laptop has undergone the HP Total Test Process and MIL-STD-810H testing to ensure physical integrity.

The HP ProBook 455 G8 Laptop includes a 65W AC adapter and a 3.3' power cord. It may also be powered using its Long Life 3-cell / 45Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that lasts for up to 14.75 hours before recharging is required and may be recharged up to 50% in 30 minutes. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit).
