The Optics Window Mount PH200 System from Field Optics Research combines a compact pan head with a window mount that safely attaches the head to the top of your car window. The system allows you to attach cameras and spotting scopes up to 6.6 lb to use in your outdoor adventures.
The pan head features a short pan handle that allows you to easily use it from inside your vehicle. The top part of the head is adjustable along the roll axis so that you can always keep your camera or scope horizontal. If the way to head is mounted to your car window results in the camera being positioned slightly uneven, this roll adjustment will let you easily even the camera out.
The head comes with a quick release 65mm Arca-Swiss plate with a 1/4"-20 screw. The plate lets you comfortably secure this system to your window and then easily attach your camera. The window mount has a 3/8"-16 mounting screw, and the pan head has a matching 3/8"-16 thread. The pan head can also be removed and mounted on most standard tripods, monopods, and other supports.
The FPH-200 Pan Head from Field Optical Research is a compact, aluminum head that attaches to tripods with a 3/8"-16 base mount. It has a 360° independent pan axis that can be locked into place while the tilt plate is adjusted. Additionally, the head includes the FIQR200 Arca-Type quick release plate for rapid camera attachment and detachment.
The Optics Window Mount from Field Optics Research firmly attaches to a car window with protective cork coverings on all inside surfaces. It has a 3/8"-16 screw thread interface for maximum strength and fitting most standard tripod heads.
