    Manfrotto AW 3280BLK reviews

    AW-3280B 35" Tripod Bag is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 146.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent bag This bag should help to protect my Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod with 498 RC2 ball head, and there is plenty of room to spare, but the padding is not very thick and the straps are fairly lightweight. I thought it would be sturdier, based on the price and the favorable reviews by others. It will probably be OK in the trunk of my car, but I wouldn't want to be scrambling up hillsides with it. It must be the stealth version, as there are no markings anywhere to indicate that Manfrotto made it. This bag will serve my purpose, but as far as recommendations go, I would suggest that others consider heavier duty (though more expensive) bags instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for smaler tripods/monopods I purchased 2 of these. I got one for the Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 Fluid Video Monopod and Head combo, and another for Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe Aluminum Video Tripod Legs w/ 701 HDV head. Both support systems fit perfectly inside the bags. I have another Manfrotto bag I got about 13 years ago for my 3251/501 combo (still going strong too), and the bag is still holding up well after over a decade of use! That's good construction right there. The bags I received recently, seem to be made to the same level of robustness and quality. Good materials, good stitching, and rugged feeling. I expect these 2 bags to last over a decade as well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Outright lie. Bag isn't padded. This bag is quite simply not as advertised and B&H should change the description. If being made of fabric qualifies as padding then I guess your T-shirt is also.Knew I wasn't getting what was advertized when I saw it in package. If you can fold a 36 tripod bag and shove in envelope less than an inch thick then the bag isn't padded. Frankly, I was stunned that even an unpadded 36 bag could be folded three times and be less than an inch thick. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement....I love B&H and have always been happy with my purchases from them.... I'll be disappointed if they continue to promote this bag as a padded bag. As to Manfrotto - well they don't exactly share that same stellar reputation and now I see why. B&H shouldn't allow their reputaion to be tainted by accepting Manfrotto's description unchallenged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits my 055CXPro3 and 322RC2 I'm really glad I made the purchase. I was reading other reviews saying that the bag was paper thin but it has just the right amount of padding. The padding is about a quarter of an inch thick, which is just right. It protects my body from being poked by the tripod when I carry it over my shoulder. What's so great about the bag was that it fits my manfrotto 055CXPro3 tripod with the 322RC2 ball head perfectly. I dont ever gotta take them apart. I just push the joystick handle up and slide it inside. I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a low profile bag to hold their tripod. I used to carry the tripod naked, but not anymore. It just catches too much attention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3280BLK Tripod Bag (Black) by Manfrotto i purchased this bag to carry a Bogen 055XPROB with 804RC2 head attached. With the head folded down, it easily holds both. The interior is lined with nylon which both protects the gear and allows it to easily slide into place. The shoulder strap is adjustable and allows for hands free carrying. Overall, the quality of construction is excellent with a sturdy zipper and heavy duty Cordura outer layer. The outside pocket provides a small amount of storage. A small amount of padding in the shoulder strap would have been welcome, but I'm very happy with the high quality of this bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Bag The bag seems durable thus far, it's oversized for my needsbut the next size down seemed almost too small. A decisionI do not regret. The padding is sufficient for every day bumps and to spareyour back from the metal legs.I can easily fit in my new tripod, along with my oldbackup tripod. The Bogen patch is smaller than the preview photo shows. Problems Encountered: There are marks of poor craftsmanship on the bag: threadscoming out of seams, but where craftsmanship is lacking thedurability and quality don't seem to.Not only does the strap seem a little short, but it is notadjustable, and is attached to the bag so there is no way toslip other items onto the strap like I would like to (likemy collapsible reflector case.) This feature is soimportant to me that there is a trip to the craft store inthe future to get more strap and clasps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits my Bogen 3221Pro aluminum tripod I bought a new lightweight tripod setup (from B&H, of course), but I wanted a bag for my old and trusty Bogen 3221Pro aluminum tripod. I really like this bag. It fits well, has a zipper that goes the whole length of the top, and has two methods to carry it -- using the handles and using the shoulder strap. It also has a side pocket for extras. It's big enough that I can put my equally old and trusty Bogen 3016 aluminum monopod in there as well. I think it is well made and worth the price. It is much better to have all this stuff in a bag so you can just grab it and throw it in the trunk without thinking about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's A Bag... It's a tripod bag. I use this to carry a tripod. Some complaints I've seen posted talk about the lack of padding. True, the padding is on the thin side, but the bag is supposed to carry and protect a photographic tripod, not craddle a Les Paul Gibson guitar. I could have spent more on a much nicer bag, but instead chose to use the money saved for other equipment. It does what it's supposed to do, and it looks like it's going to do it for a long time.
