I'm having the same issue as with the FX9. Fully charged battery is giving a low battery warning in camera, doesn't allow the camera to record. Luckily I had some charged bpu batts to continue the day.

It's a high quality adapter by Anton Bauer, so I was expecting it to work great. However, connected to the camera and a standard v-mount battery the camera started to go nuts. First the low battery warning came up on the viewfinder and then the camera locked up and would not record. This is with a fully charged battery. It seems this is a dumb adapter and does not have the circuitry to interface with the Sony battery monitoring system. It may work with other Sony gear, but cross the FX9 off the list.
