This aluminum plate features an upgraded 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw with a thicker head and wider D shaft. The rubberized top surface prevents the camera from twisting on the plate without marring its surface. Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from releasing from a compatible quick release clamp prematurely.

Got this for an old Canon Rebel G and it took seconds to screw on and worked immediately. Im using it with a magpul QD sling and it locks up super tight
