Screw rusts too easily.

I mean, it's a Cold Shoe, how much of a review can you write? The one issue noted above is significant, though, because basically any shoot in humid or seaside locations will cause the screw to generate a significant layer of rust that then prevents the screw from engaging correctly with the countersunk hole on the mount. This in turn causes the cold to never sit quite right and there's always a chance that it will twist out of place. It's an issue that can be easily solved with a dremel with a wire-brush attachment, but there's a good reason most camera rig mounting hardware is nickel-plated.
