As said in other reviews, these are foam core boards. But, the convenience is that they come pre-cut / split. So, there’s no need to cut large foam core boards yourself. You’re paying for the convenience.
I bought these for food photography and love how portable they are and how it infills the shadows (for the white bounce boards). This is definitely a table top size so size up for something larger.
