On an Android phone, can it capture audio while bluetooth headphones with microphone are connected?
Asked by: Maciej
It really depends on the app that you are using to record. Since there can be a delay with Bluetooth, we don't recommend using Bluetooth headphones to monitor while recording with any device.

Is there any way I can get a wiring diagram of the USB-C Mic so I can DYI an analog adapter for it?
Asked by: Carlos
The Sennheiser XS Lav USB-C Lapel Mic cannot be converted to analog with an adapter. While it is possible to use adapters to convert the output from an analog microphone to digital (USB), it is not possible to convert a digital (USB) mic to analog. You would be better off getting a different mic like the Sennheiser XS Lav Mobile Lapel Mic with TRRS Connection (B&H # SELMM) and using it with a USB-C or Lightning adapter when a digital connection is needed. The Manfrotto PIXI Mini Table Top Tripod (B&H # MAMTPIXIB) is available to purchase separately, as are smartphone clamps with cold shoe mounts, such as the ANDYCINE Tripod Mount for Smartphone and Tablet (B&H # ANASC08), the Magnus Smartphone Tripod Adapter Plus (B&H # MASTA500BP), the Ulanzi ST-27 Metal Smartphone Tripod Mount (B&H # ULST27), or the XILETU XJ-16 Phone/Tablet Tripod Mount (B&H # XIXJ16).

can this be used with Sennheiser wireless body ...

can this be used with Sennheiser wireless body packs if I use a trrs to trs adapter??
Asked by: Alexander
Sennheiser wireless bodypack transmitters use a locking 3.5mm TRS connector and the mic would probably not be connected securely to the input. Additionally, the adapter may add noise to the signal. It would be best to use a microphone that is designed for use with wireless transmitters such as the Sennheiser ME 2-II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone (B&H # SEME2II), Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic (B&H # SEUTM8635H), Senal OLM-2 Lavalier Microphone (B&H # SEOLM), or the Polsen Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser Transmitters (B&H # POPL2O). We do have many other mics as well so please feel free to contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you would like assistance to find the best options for your application.

Would this work with my Sony UWP-D27 2-Person Came

Would this work with my Sony UWP-D27 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System?
Asked by: Nick
The Sennheiser XS Lav Mobile Lapel Mic (TRRS Connection) is designed for use with smartphones or tablets. It is incompatible with the Sony UWP-D27 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System, as it has the wrong type of connector and different internal wiring. As a compatible option, you can use the Senal OLM-2 Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sony UWP Transmitters (BH # SEOLM2S), the Saramonic DK5B Professional Water-Resistant Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Sony UWP, UWP-D, and WRT Transmitters - Locking 3.5mm Connector (BH # SADK5B), or the same microphone that is included with the UWP-D27 system, which is the Sony ECM-V1BMP Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking Sony 3.5mm Connector - Black (BH # SOECMV1BMP).

Is there a version with a Lightning connector so the mic can be attached to an iPhone 12?
Asked by: Billy
Sennheiser does not offer a version with a Lightning connector, but you can use the Sennheiser XS Lav Mobile Lapel Mic - TRRS Connection (B&H # SELMM)with the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP) or with the Rode SC6-L Ultracompact 2x2 Lightning Audio Interface for iOS Devices (B&H # ROSC6L) for compatibility with an iPhone.
