This lightweight shotgun microphone with robust, all-metal construction is equipped with a shockmount and a cold-shoe adapter for easy mounting on your camera or to a smartphone clamp. A 1/4" thread under the shoe adapter allows you to mount the mic on a tripod.
The MIC10 features a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses the audio capture in front of the camera while rejecting distracting sounds in the background—yielding a significantly improved sound compared to the built-in mics on your camera/phone. A furry windscreen is provided to reduce wind noise during outdoors shoots.
Included are two 3.5mm cables: a TRS to TRS cable for use with cameras and a TRS to TRRS cable to allow proper hookup to a smartphone or tablet equipped with a headphone jack.
