The cable is designed as an extended power solution for a monitor, light, or camera that uses an LP-E6 battery, and the dummy battery is fully decoded.
The D-Tap connector plugs into a separately available brick battery or other D-Tap power sources, and it provides regulated 7.4 to 8.4 VDC power. The straight cable extends 39" in length.
