This dummy battery fits into the camera's existing Canon LP-E6 battery socket and features a built-in emulator chip that delivers power status data to the camera. Proper operation of this adapter requires a USB power source with a minimum 5V, 2.4A output, and it provides an output to your device of 7.4 VDC.
