Crush any roadblocks to your creativity with the gravity of a thousand suns with the Eventide Blackhole, a powerful reverb and delay pedal that can load up to five selectable and customizable presets. Blackhole offers the ability to create truly otherworldly sounds with the Gravity, Feedback, and Size controls, and the dual-action momentary or latching footswitch.
You can load up to 127 presets into the pedal via MIDI and the EDM (Eventide Device Manager) software. The rear panel provides connections for an expression pedal input, a mono or stereo audio input, and stereo pair outputs. Selectable Hi-Z or line-level operation makes Blackhole compatible with guitars, synths, FX loops, or DAW interfaces. Controls include a Freeze footswitch to freeze reverb sounds in place infinitely, Gravity for selecting between normal and inverse decays, and Size for choosing the size of your virtual space, be it comically small or cosmically large. You also get three EQ controls in the form of Lo (bass), Hi (treble), and Q (resonance). Blackhole also supports 1/4" TRS and USB MIDI. Bypass options include buffered, DSP+FX, and Kill Dry, which creates reverb-only fadeouts.
