Kupo Complete Mitchell Threaded Collar, Castle Nut, and Round Plate Set

Attach accessories to Mitchell mounting plates with this Complete Mitchell Threaded Collar, Castle Nut, and Round Plate Set from Kupo. This set features a CNC-machined aluminum mounting collar, round Mitchell plate, and yellow zinc-plated steel castle nut that enables mounting cheese plates, accessories, risers, and other grip gear on a Mitchell mounting receiver, which is common to the cinema industry. This complete set allows you to mount the round plate onto the collar, which then allows you to sandwich a neutral riser (not included) between the round plate and the castle nut with the collar fitting into the riser's mounting hole.

The castle nut features standard threading, a smooth-round circumference, and raised studs that allow you to grip and tighten or loosen the nut as needed and give the castle nut its name. The collar is machined with threads that match a standard Mitchell castle nut (not included), making it compatible with a variety of tripod supports and risers. A pair of M7 and M10 countersunk through holes enable you to mount the collar onto supports without using the round plate. Likewise, a pair of threaded 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with 1" on-center spacing is suitable for attaching standard cheese plates to the collar. Additionally, the interior of the collar is threaded, allowing it to accept optional accessories from Kupo, such as the Mitchell thread collar to Baby pin stud adapter.
