How robust is the recovery software? A reviewer stated they lost 1 year of photos... can you recover full drive if it fails?
Asked by: Jeremi
Recovery software might be able to recover a deleted file in some cases. If a drive fails you will not be able to recover it. USB sticks are not long term or high reliability storage they are meant for moving information from one system to another.

question

What color is the LED activity light?
Asked by: Andrew H.
When the thumb drive is plugged in, you have to look directly on the top of the thumb drive to see the blue activity LED. Most thumb drives have the activity LED on the end of the drive to make it easier to see when files are being read or written to the drive. But is is a great product overall.

It will appear as a removable disk every time you use it. I made mine bootable and is working fine. No complaints at all.
