Packaging said it was rechargeable or I could use batteries. We are without power so I bought batteries. It didn’t come with the piece for me to put batteries in. It didn’t say that. It just said BATTERIES not included, not BATTERIES AND ACCESSORY sold separately.

I purchased this about a year ago based off of a friends recommendation. It burns through batteries like nothing I have ever witnessed before. I will admit it has an amazing light...for about 3 minutes, then you need new batteries. Tonight I dropped it from about three feet, max. It now will not turn on. I did try to get a refund after purchasing it and realizing I would need own a battery company to make this a reasonable expense, but due to no receipt (going through nasty divorce and having my belongings stolen) I was not able to return.
