OKI MICROLINE 490 24-Pin Dot Matrix Printer

Rugged and reliable, the MICROLINE 490 24-Pin Dot Matrix Printer from OKI is built to handle the printing needs of the most demanding environments. This 24-pin model produces letter-quality type and high-resolution graphics, and the unit is designed for point-of-sale, wholesale and retail sales counters, financial departments, and manufacturing and warehouse sites. An internal cooling fan provides continuous airflow for the printhead and maximizes throughput productivity for long, unattended print jobs. The MICROLINE 490 features a rugged printhead with an average life expectancy of 400 million-characters, and the printer turns out 105 cps in letter-quality mode. Samarium magnets and stored-energy pins deliver sharp characters, and a closed-loop feedback system assures character placement accuracy. Additionally, a zero-tear feature accurately positions continuous forms for a clean tear at the perforation to eliminate wasted stock.
