Works great  with XF605 and C70

Works great with XF605. Although the XF605 dc input is labeled 24v, it can run on a wide range of voltages (24v is probably the maximum). I was running it at 14v for over a year before switching to this adapter. In the menu settings you can set what voltage you want the low battery warning to come on at, and I think you can set it down to at least 12v. I am also using it on my C70.

Since I saw a similar cable that said it was compatible with those two cameras, I thought it would be interchangeable. The C70 DC input is 19.5volts The XF605 DC input is 24volts I used a voltage meter to test. I will keep it just in case I need it since it should also work with a Sony FX6. The build quality it top notch. I just wish it had a way to attach to a rig built in. I'm knocking off a star since it doesn't have the 19.5 voltage rating labeled or the diagram that it is center positive.

What's a recommendation for attaching this to a camera rig? How does this even attach to the Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro?

We recommend using a hook-and-loop fastener strap to attach the Wooden Camera D-Tap to DC Barrel Power Cable for Canon C70 to your rails, cage, or battery plate since it has no built-in mounting hardware. To attach the Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro, plug the D-Tap connector from the cable into of the Slide Pro's D-Tap outputs. The cable does not physically mount to the plate itself.

If this is the best solution to power the C70 what is the best option for a V-Mount battery plate that would pair well withthis?

There are many good V-Mount battery mount choices depending on how you would be building a rig for the Canon C70. However, another idea could be the Wooden Battery Slide Pro. The battery Slide also eliminates the need for the D-Tap cable since it is integrated into the battery slide. Can I power the c70 with this cable and with an internal bp-a30 simultaneously? Will the camera draw power from this cable first

Yes, normally the power provided by the Wooden Camera D-Tap to DC Barrel Power Cable for Canon C70 would be used first if a battery was installed in the camera. Once removed the battery in the camera would take over.
