The Waves SoundGrid Proton Server is a rackmountable DSP unit designed to provide affordable plug-in processing power for sound engineers using Waves plug-ins in live event venues, houses of worship, studios, and mobile recording rigs. Since it works with Waves live sound hardware consoles, SoundGrid audio interfaces, and traditional Core Audio / ASIO audio interfaces, the server is well suited for an array of recording and mixing setups. Plus, its aluminum enclosure is durable, easy to transport, and rack friendly (1/2 rack width).

With an Intel Celeron Quad-Core CPU and 4GB of RAM, the SoundGrid Proton Server reduces the plug-in processing load normally imposed on your computer. It capably handles the task of processing multiple instances of Waves plug-ins with latency as low as 0.8 ms at sample rates up to 96 kHz. A single RJ45 port ensures simple connectivity to your host computer or SoundGrid audio network, while power for the SoundGrid Proton Server is supplied by the included universal power adapter.

The affordable way to run Waves SoundGrid plugins - compressors, EQs, limiters, reverbs, delays, feedback elimination tools and more - on your X32 or M32 mixer. With Waves SuperRack advanced plugins rack (included), DN32-WSG I/O card, and a SoundGrid DSP server (sold separately) you can mix with plugins by Waves and other companies to dramatically improve your live sound. You can also play back and capture multi-track recordings - all in extremely low latency. The DN32-WSG card lets you connect your digital console to any Waves SoundGrid audio processing server via a single Ethernet cable. It also features clock Sync-over-Ethernet for syncing multiple mixers and performing digital splits. Together with SuperRack (included), a SoundGrid server and a Mac or PC, the Waves DN32-WSG I/O card gives you more control over your live sound - directly from your X32 or M32 console.
