Designed as a working knife, the FX411 H.A.R.D. Field Knife from COAST is a folding knife with a laminated wooden handle and 4" 7Cr17 stainless steel blade. Deep thumb notching on the top of the blade and frame adds even greater grip and control of the knife, helping prevent accidental slipping. Thumb studs on both sides of the blade make one-handed opening easy, whether right or left handed. Fully opened, the knife measures 8.75". It comes in a clamshell packaging.

Bought this knife a few years ago. Just needed a less expensive work knife, (which I thought I'd lose or break anyway). Surprisingly, this knife proved a lot tougher than I thought. Still using it, and the steel is top notch. The real bonus is the reversible pocket clip, so you can use it left or right handed. Gonna buy another one. Great all around knife for guys that spend time outdoors.
Nothing but good things to say about the FX411 nice heavy duty, well built and big blade!!! Takes a little breaking in but smooth one handed. Definitely impressed by the quality 👏
