Loaded with award-winning processors and vintage-modeled compressors and EQs, PreSonus Fat Channel XT is a complete channel strip plug-in that's ideal for musicians, songwriters, mixers, and producers. Since it is compatible with Studio One Prime 4.6 or later as well as other Mac-/Windows-based DAWs that support AAX, Audio Units, or VST3 plug-in formats, it can be used for a broad range of music production setups.
Fat Channel XT packs five processors—EQ, compressor, limiter, gate/expander, and high-pass filter—into a rack-style interface to provide fast access to a host of useful audio-enhancing functions. With three compressor models and three EQ models available for selection, Fat Channel XT can deliver the sounds of StudioLive, tube, and vintage hardware, and more. In addition to switchable EQ and compressor positioning, the plug-in offers on/off switches per processor to allow easy bypassing and comparative listening.
In addition to the classic StudioLive compressor and EQ modules, you get two State Space Modeled compressors and EQs recreated from coveted vintage studio gear. Need more virtual analog goodness? Fat Channel XT can be expanded with any or all of the eight compressor and seven EQ models in the Fat Channel Plug-In Collection.
