The Canon C70 Camera Cage with 15mm LWS Baseplate from SHAPE are both designed specific to the Canon C70, with the baseplate designed to match the optical center of the camera. The cage features top, side, and bottom plates, leaving the right side open so that the camera's handgrip can be used.

The bottom plate of the cage screws into the bottom of the camera with two 1/4"-20 screws, and the baseplate then screws into this plate. The baseplate provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads on the bottom. If you want to use the cage removed from the baseplate, the bottom plate of the cage also offers the same tripod mount types.

The top plate of the cage supports the native C70 top handle and mic holder, the latter via a built-in offset shoe mount. The cage provides standard and anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, and the baseplate comes with two 12" 15mm rods. An HDMI clamp is also included and attaches to the side to secure your HDMI cable.
