Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy Customer! I am very satisfied with the viewer. I had hoped it would be a little larger, but it still serves it's purpose. I had hundreds of old slides to look through and decide which ones to transfer to disc. For the price and the quality, I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to go down memory lane without spending a fortune. I had never made a purchase at B&H before and I must say the service was very efficient. I believe I received it in one week. Would definitely recommend your company to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plain Vanilla Slide Viewer I use this to quickly review boxed slides before scanning, for which it works well enough. There is some optical distortion, which makes it unsuitable for critical viewing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money Poorly made junk. Had it 2 weeks and already had to take it apart and repair the lamp on contact. Don't expect it to last much longer. Doesn't give much magnification to the slide viewer either.Save your money-buy something better at a higher price. What did I expect for $.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plain and Simple Slide Viewer This is one of the least costly ways to easily review slides. The Hama DB 54 allowed me to quickly review an old collection of slides to cull the duplicates and select those invaluable keepsakes from the collection for additional processing as prints or digital files.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite perfect I wish I could love this Viewer. The price was right, and it magnifies the slide well--But the lens of my viewer has a fairly large black flaw in it. I only need the viewer to preview slides, but the flaw is annoying. I took the viewer apart, thinking it might be some sort of dirt. It was not...It is embedded within the lens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not useful for older eyes. The light is not very bright and I thought the image would be magnified. I bought it for an elder who can not operate a slide projector. She wanted to look at old family pictures but the image is too small. I will have to look for other options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small & Nice Didn't think I would need one of these....lost my old one. A program I now have you can "photograph" your slides with a new Nikon attachment and 60MM Macro. It works well and it's so nice to look at "Good old Slides". Photographed with the macro then you can make prints off the SD card!!!! Nice work Nikon. May need to have the macro lens be able to better "FIT" the inside of the Slide to make it faster and better quality to just easily copy the inside "film" part of the slide. Auto focus Extensions for lenses (60MM) Nikon Macro lens "and others" make this system work better. I still have hundreds of slides so a quicker more "fined tuned" copy method would work for may of us I'm sure. The current system Nikon works "OK" but we are always after "the best". Thanks..Kevin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this This thing quit working the second time I used it. It is way over priced for what it is, a mere plastic gadit. I don't recommend buying one of these. use a nice light and a magnifing glass instead.
