Using to watch our cat

My husband and I bought this before our honeymoon so we could monitor our cat during our week and a half trip. The peace of mind was amazing. Not only that, but the quality of the camera was so nice, we could hear sounds, get alerts for movements, and see nightvision really well. 10/10 buy!

This is a small, very economical really good camera for the price. The clarity is really great and so far it has done a good job with notifying off and capturing  activity at night.  I am NOT using this camera for serious surveillance or important recordings therefore I can’t review how reliable it will be after several weeks of use. But if you need to survey things like your pets, or check on your home (indoors) it will do a good job. We are using it to monitor mice activity at night. Night vision and motion activation has been excellent.  It is sensitive to motion and sound (which can cause the camera to be activated by noises around your home or lights/shadows reflecting on surfaces) but this can be adjusted in the settings.  For the price, I definitely recommend it and I actually gifted it to a neighbor experiencing a similar issue.

There is no limit to the number of cameras/devices that can be monitored from the Kasa Smart app for iOS or Android.

No. The Kasa app is required for setup. The Kasa app is available for free on Android and iOS.
