TP-Link KL125 Overview

Control your light fixture from anywhere with the multicolor KL125 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Bulb from TP-Link. Thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity, a hub is not required to operate this bulb. Simply download the Kasa Smart app for iOS and Android to turn the bulb on and off, customize schedules, and adjust settings from your phone or tablet.

This bulb has a light output of 800 lumens, a 2500 to 6500 Kelvin color temperature for multicolor light, and a 1-100% dimmable range. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported for seamless voice control.

Customer experience at B&H (in store) was superb. These bulbs are in my outdoor porch lights set to a warm low white that comes on at six pm and goes off at ten. Far better than 'solar' lights that shine too brightly all night long. these look like I'm home. Easy configuration of Kasa App with Alexa app - but you need a 2.4 gHz wifi, not 5 gHz. Good price at B&H.

I bought 8 of these bulbs (two packs) and have replaced all of the lamps in my house with them. they are convenient and the app works well. They are bright and have good color quality. It is nice to be able to dim each bulb individually. I can see myself buying more if my current supply ever runs out.

No, the bulb does not use a bayonet style base. It utilizes an A19 screw-type base.

Are these bulbs flicker free for use in a video shoot scenario?

The TP-Link KL125 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Bulb (Multicolor, 4-Pack), B&H # TPKL125P4, will not appear to flicker for normal household use, but flickering may be visible when recording video at higher fps.

The TP-Link KL125 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Bulb (Multicolor, 4-Pack), BH # TPKL125P4, is not designed to work with touch or dimmer fixtures, lamps or switches. Per TP-Link: "Compatible with regular light switches. Not suitable for use with standard in-wall dimmers. Not compatible with photosensors, motion sensors, or timers. Dimmable via the app only."

Is there a group feature that does more than just on/off, change colors etc? Can automation alternate colors for seasons like Christmas?

The TP-Link KL125 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Bulb is an LED bulb that you can choose which color to change the bulb to. You can also create a group of bulbs to change colors at the same time.
