Revo RBL-S Overview

The RBL-S Bluetooth Remote Shutter Control from Revo allows select Sony cameras to be controlled using Bluetooth low-energy technology. The compact, pocket-sized remote pairs quickly with enabled cameras, making it possible to wirelessly control multiple camera functions.

Adjust focus and zoom on the fly, from wide-angle to telephoto with Sony's compatible power-zoom equipped cameras and lenses. The C1 custom button emulates the function of the C1 button on the paired camera. With these features, provide simple fingertip control from up to 32.8' away, making it possible to remotely take photos or start and stop video. An LED indicator shows when the camera is triggered, or a video begins and ends.

not sure if its the battery or the product, but it stopped working and im not interested in looking for a battery just after a few times used. also with most sony cameras you can just use their app which works perfectly for me.

I can't get this to sync with my A7R V. Has this ...

I can't get this to sync with my A7R V. Has this combination been tested yet (being a brand new camera model) ? Is there a possibility of firmware updating? I bought this trigger a couple weeks prior to the camera so worried I don't have the latest firmware. (wasn't an issue for other connecting devices like flash).

So, after my second answer and review B&H put me in touch with the importer and, long story short, old remote may have a problem with the A7RV but not the new ones.

Yes, you can pair Revo RBL-S Bluetooth Remote Shutter Control for Select Sony Cameras with your Sony ZV-1F Vlogging Camera through the Network Menu. You would have full control of zoom in/out, shutter release and stop/start recording.
