Mount this Tilta Top Handle for Sony FX6 on top of your camera in place of the original handle and reap the benefits of adjustable balance. In addition to multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes, the top handle features two cold shoes, two monitor mounts for the FX6 LCD monitor bracket, and a 15mm rod mount for attaching an EVF.

Probably a good handle, but frustrating…

This particular quick release handle does not work with the Tilta cage for the RED Komodo 6K. It only latches in and bolts down with a 1/4 20” thread when it is put in backwards, obscuring the camera screen and carries awkward when held. However, I’m sure it works with other Tilta brands.

I wanted a top handle that used two bolts for more peace of mind, and this one is inexpensive and has been perfect.

While the Tilta Top Handle for Sony FX6 may be able to mount to the 1/4"-20 threaded mounts on the top of the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K Cinema Box Camera, it is not designed for the PYXIS and may block exhaust ports or other accessories on the camera.

Because the Tilta Quick Release Top Handle (Black) has a 1/4"-20 that can protrude from the bottom of cold shoe mount, you could mount it as a side handle using a the camera's or a cage's 1/4"-20 receiver, but it may not be the most secure since it won't have the added support of a cold shoe, anti-twist pin, or a second screw, so if you do use it as a side handle be careful to pay attention to if it starts to come lose or twist.
