The Brunton 8010 Eco Compass is made of recycled and reclaimed acrylic scraps left over from many manufacturing processes and comes with a lanyard made from recycled soft drink bottles—part of the continuing commitment to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
This is a basic scouting compass designed for basic wayfinding, orienteering, trip planning, and navigation with a 2° resolution rotating azimuth ring and a TruArc Global Needle that allows it to tilt up to 20° for balanced use worldwide. Additional features include a tool-free declination adjustment to orient magnetic north to true north, inch & millimeter ruler scales for accurate map work, and an integrated magnifier to help you see small details on maps. This 8010 Eco Compass is made right here in the USA at Brunton's factory in Riverton, Wyoming.
