no power from splitter

I bought this to use as a spltter charger. I have a port on a lamp .Plugged this in expecting it to charge my iphone and computer with lightning cables, it will not power to either. I can power without the splitter but get nothing with the spltter. What am i doing wrong

Will this work with a wireless USB receiver for Bluetooth earbuds?

The USB bluetooth adapters I am seeing that B&H currently offers requires host connectivity to a computer to be able to power and pair to bluetooth headphones.
