Urth ND Lens Filter Plus+ (67mm, 4-Stop)
Key Features
  • 1.2 Optical Density
  • 20-Layer Nano-Coating
  • B270 Schott Optical Glass
  • Ultra-Slim Rim
This 67mm ND Lens Filter Plus+ from Urth provides a fixed 4-stop light reduction for better control with long exposure and depth of field techniques in low light. With less light entering your camera, you can also use wider apertures in low light for a beautiful shallower depth of field effect without overexposing images. Cinematographers can use the ND16 Filter Plus+ to create more cinematic effects in low light without losing quality or overexposing the shot. The Plus+ range features 20 layers of nano-coating providing easier cleaning and better protection against water, oil, and scratches. These layers also provide a higher maximum light transmission and a more consistent transmission curve for truer light reduction.

I've never heard of magnalium. I always by brass rings because they don't bind like aluminum rings. How does magnalium compare?
Asked by: Sean
Magnalium is an aluminum alloy with 10-5% magnesium and 90-95% aluminum. It is light, strong, and resists corrosion. In addition, the strength and hardness of aluminum increase when it is alloyed with such substances as magnesium, manganese, nickel, chromium, zinc, iron, copper, and silicon. Magnalium—lighter and more workable than aluminum—is used in making metal mirrors and scientific instruments. Since it is 90-90% aluminum, cross threading may still occur

Will this fit in the 52mm filter holder slot for Nikon 200mm f2 or 200-400 f4 lenses?
Asked by: William
The Urth 52mm ND64 1.8 Lens Filter Plus+ (6-Stop) may or may not fit the Nikkor 200mm f/2 or Nikkor 200-400mm f/4 lens, but the only filters guaranteed to fit are Nikon filters.
