Operation
Mounting: Once you have mounted the plate to your tripod or other mounting platform, simply slide your camera forward so that the front tongue and rear shoe on the bottom of the camera engage. You will feel the mechanism engage. Gently pull backwards and up to ensure the camera is seated properly.
Releasing: Firmly hold your camera with one hand, while with the other, hold the release lever and press the red safety-release button. With the button depressed, pull the handle out away from the plate to release your camera.
