I bought this for my son but I might steal it. I'm just jealous! It's functional and honestly just looks better than the other instax models.

I bought this instant camera for my son's birthday. He "instantly" fell in love with it. Must of ran through 2-3 packs of film in less than 2 hours... This model in particular really caught my eye because of its retro design. After playing with it in person when it arrived, the overall feel is plasticky which is kinda to be expected but I do wish some areas of the camera were higher quality so that it is more grippier. It's very lightweight. I wish they did some changes to some of the functions. The shutter button could be placed somewhere else slightly away from the viewfinder. And the viewfinder could be a bit bigger. It's super tiny to look out of. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. It's a new fun thing to have on our trips now.
The first picture I took was a selfie, and it was blasted way over exposed. I wanted to send it back, but I still had 9 photos left. This was a toy for me; I am a working professional photographer. With a little work to fool the auto-exposure and learning to live with what I expected to be typical instant polaroid/Instax photos, in can be a fun toy. The photos are sharper than my old Polaroid One Step. But I sure do wish I had that Polaroid 195 back.
We bought this polaroid to use at our wedding reception! We think it will be a fun experience for our guests to take selfies and write a note in our guest book. We're looking forward to using it on our adventures after the party too!
Gave this to my husband for Christmas who immediately had a blast snapping photos during the holiday with this. I was a little worried he wouldn't enjoy it since his usual camera is a Fuji GFX100S but any apprehension was erased as soon as he opened it! It's not often I pick something that surprises him but he was excited to get this and add something fun to his usual photography set up. We're enjoying the line up of quick prints on our refrigerator now :)
Easy to use, and fun for the nostalgia factor! The photos do get a little blown out because of the flash that is always on, but if taken in the right setting, they look great and retro.
So far, better and more reliable than the mini 11. It may cost a tad more but it's worth it. It looks good and feels sturdier than the preceding models. It may also seem a little less stylized, but I like its boxy quality. I miss having the features from the mini 10 but this is a better and more affordable replacement than the mini 11.
