This 62mm Soft Graduated ND Lens Filter Plus+ from Urth provides a fixed 3-stop light reduction from half your image for balanced exposure and better dynamic range in soft graduated light conditions. By blocking 3-stops of light from half the image, you can balance your exposure when the foreground is darker than the background - such as shooting landscapes in the mountains. The soft graduation creates a natural blending of light. The Plus+ range features 20-layers of nano-coating providing easier cleaning and better protection against water, oil, and scratches. These layers also provide a higher maximum light transmission and a more consistent transmission curve for truer light reduction.
- 0.9 Optical Density

Urth Soft Graduated ND8 Lens Filter (Plus+) Reviews
Does Exactly What They Say It Does
I just spent two days in the Alberta Badlands using this filter on a Canon RF16-28 F2.8 & RF28-70 F2.8 lens. Without it I would have had to close up the aperture or suffer over exposure on every shot, but with this filter on I was able to capture flowering cactus and hoodoos at a nice variety of depth of field, while getting a nice graduated effect in the sky. Very easy to adjust depending on the camera body angle and quicker to use than a polarizer with the camera mounted low to the ground on a tripod. The result was excellent contrast and shadow detail on the ground and with the few clouds in the sky. Too bad it doesn’t come as a magnetic attachment to easily swap between lenses, especially in sandy conditions, but maybe in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good construction, fits well to UV+ filter, but a little shallow on the turning ring. Not a problem if you make sure you clip your lens cover properly.A little bit heavy with a 24mm+ lens but above 35mm more than O.K.
