Excellent way to protect your cable ports

The camera I use for a regular product photography session has a mini-HDMI port. The client needs to see the session on a big screen so staying connected is critical. Those mini ports are easily damaged. I always tied up my cable to the tripod handle or bracket with bongo ties, however there was always some flex, and eventually I had to spend over $200 getting the port repaired. So I bought the Tether Tools cable clamp. It attaches firmly to the Arca style L-bracket I use and I can slide it up or down to the perfect position. Once a cable is locked in, there's no way to damage the port--it's rock-solid. A perfect piece of gear and about 10 times cheaper than repairing a cable port.
